Technology has become a big aspect in our lives. Teachers are constantly using technology. Whether its for attendance, creating a worksheet, or researching fun activities to do for a lesson. These are some of the main reasons why teachers are influenced to use technology. It also allows communicating with parents and other teachers easier. The thing that influences students to use technology in the classroom is the fact that it can help the student learn with the learning stye that fits them. All students learn in different ways. Some are auditory learners, others visual learners, and some kinesthetic learners. Technology can help them learn in whichever way works best for them. An International Society for Technology in Education, or ISTE, develops standards for technology. One that I am familiar with is the designer standard.
